Personal Fundraising Page Setup

Jackson's first birthday with momHand to Hold invites NICU families and the medical professionals who love them to create a Personal Fundraising page in support of the Preemie Parent Empowerment Project. Funds raised through these pages will provide vital resources to families during and after a NICU stay including information about Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder, peer-to-peer support matching, educational videos, support groups and ongoing education about the challenges many preemies face. If you, your family or workplace have been affected by premature birth or loss and would like to make a difference for other families, we invite you to participate in this meaningful campaign.

Bringing your supporters together to celebrate a child's birthday, a milestone, special achievement or to honor a child or loved one's life is an exciting opportunity. You'll have a chance to share your story and photos or a video with friends and family while helping Hand to Hold mobilize even more support for families right now. We are grateful you're considering starting a page to help pay it forward for others in need.

Personal Fundraising Page Sample Screen ShotHow Does Creating a Personal Fundraising Page Work?

Participants in this effort create a personal fundraising page. This page is customizable using simple tools that allow you to add photos or a video along with your personal story. From this page, you can set a fundraising goal (complete with working thermometer!) and access a Participant Center which provides email templates and tools to contact friends and family for support.

Using these tools, you can help:

  • Raise money in honor or memory of a precious child or other family member who cares deeply about this cause.
  • Start a page on behalf of your company or even divisions/departments within your organization.
  • Send out requests using pre-written templates that you may customize to request support from your contacts.
  • Upload your e-mail address book to your Participant Center to make reaching out to your friends and family easier.
  • Keep track of who you’ve contacted and which donations have come in. You can even send email thank you notes to those who are supporting you.
  • Make your page completely private, only accessible to your inner circle. You may also allow people to find you if they do a search from this page (see below).
